At Ryerson we are holding space for conversations that matter. Conversations about God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. Conversations about life, and death, and what it means to lead a ‘good life’ in a complex time. At Ryerson faith and intellect are not in conflict, and we believe God welcomes questions.
But we’re not just about conversations! In response to God’s love for community and creation we seek to identify areas of service and to make a difference in the world.
We value the energy and wisdom of children and the elders and everyone in between. Through grappling with faith, engagement with community, and encounters with the sacred through the arts, Ryerson offers rich opportunities to grow in relationship with the Holy Other.
All services offer signing and special earphones for the hearing impaired and the buildings are wheelchair accessible. Usually sermons are printed for the hearing impaired and those who are learning English as a second language.
We are not alone, we live in God's world.
We believe in God:
Who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus, the word made flesh,
to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others by the Spirit.
We trust in God.
We are called to be the Church:
to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.
We are not alone.
Thanks be to God.
