The Ryerson Luncheon -- meets at noon on the second Thursday in each month, October to June. Includes a nourishing lunch, interesting speaker and wonderful fellowship - contact: Ruth McLellan at 604-266-5377
Fireside Women -- a fellowship and discussion group which meets on the evening of the 3rd Wednesday in the Fireside Room for refreshments and a theme topic - contact: Donna Lee Graham at 604-266-5293 or Evelyn Hyde 604-261-9523.
Thrift Sale -- our locally famous (and huge!) sale occurs twice a year, usually the last weekend in April and October. Volunteers can be part of a dynamic and entertaining group, either during the sale itself or all year round helping with sorting. Donations of good quality used goods and books are always welcome. Pastoral Group -- meets the 4th Thursday of every month to visit shut ins. Contact: Brian Thorpe 604-266-5377. This group maintains contacts with shut ins and others in the congregation. They meet monthly for check in, coordination and support
Healing Pathway Group - This ministry is an expression of love and compassion for everyone in need of healing in body, mind and spirit. Badminton -- this drop in event has been happening every Friday night, April - October, for 40 years! We welcome secondary school age to seniors. 8:00 - 10:00 pm
Women’s Retreat -- Once a year women from Ryerson and our friends spend a weekend away for a time of friendship, rest and learning together. This is a great time of laughter, meditation, walks, conversation, some tears and great memories. We’d love to have you along.
Community Garden -- The garden, a partnership with PosAbilities, is new this year. Congregation members and neighbours are working the 14 plots of produce and flowers. CCR: Couples Celebrating Relationships -- This group offers a variety of activities which help couples grow in their relationships with each other and the congregation. Much fun, food and thought are usually involved. For more information check the Calendar link.
Knitting -- take home some wool and ideas and knit for those who will appreciate the warmth that is offered.
